They are EPA-registered to kill a total of 51 microorganisms, including all ESKAPE pathogens (E. faecium, S. aureus, K. pneumonia, A. baumannii, P. aeruginosa, E. aerogenes) in 30 seconds, Norovirus in 1 minute, and TB and C. difficile spores in 3 minutes. These hospital-grade disinfectant wipes kill C. difficile spores. Harsh bleach smells can be irritating to some patients and staff so wipes are made with a gentle, odor-masking formula.
